Over three years, approximately 500 seafarers will receive a specially tailored version of advanced bridge resource management training, supplemental to existing training programmes.

The new training, which utilises state of the art bridge simulators, demonstrates both Companies’ commitment to ensuring seafarers are trained to a standard beyond industry compliance.

The 5-day course at Clyde Training Solutions in Glasgow is an enhanced version of industry recognised bridge resource management (BRM) containing a mix of theory, case study analysis and high-pressure simulator exercises to sharpen officers’ ability to manage a range of onboard scenarios.

The bespoke training is aligned with Stena Line’s high operational standards and stringent safety procedures.
