ERP Systems Analyst

The primary purpose of the ERP Systems Analyst role is to ensure the continued availability and smooth running of our Unit4 ERP system. The ERP system is used by most personnel across 50+ NMG companies to manage day-to-day business actives in areas ranging from accounting, procurement, project management, supplier chain operations, personnel, and compliance to reporting of our client owned vessels. Good communication skills, both written and verbal as well as core IT and analysis skills are required to solve system specific issues encountered by our end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1st line issue support is managed via NMG’s IT service desk. The ERP Systems Analyst is responsible for end-user ticket resolution by ensuring:
    • Issues are investigated, responded to, and resolved within the agreed SLAs.
    • Early engagement with 2nd line support is made where SLAs cannot be met.
    • Users are directed to systems published guidance.
    • Maintain documentation\guides and keep abreast of ERP trends and best practices.
  • Access requests are submitted by the business via the IT service desk and processed, ensuring:
    • Compliance with published audit controls.
    • Setup of user ids and access is completed within the agreed SLAs and per the approved access form.
    • Users are notified that their access has been granted and are providing with basic user guidance.
  • System administration by ERP Systems analyst will ensure continued availability of the system by ensuring:
    • Financial setup is amended as per agreed service desk tickets raised and approved by Finance.
    • System workflows are monitored daily, any issues are investigated and resolved with guidance from second line support.
    • Audit reports requested by audit are delivered as agreed.
    • Data feeds are monitored and reviewed. Any issues are raised with the Technical Systems Manager.
  • Server Availability of ERP System is required 24x7 for 50+ Global businesses within NMG.  The ERP Systems analyst will work with the Technical Systems Manager to ensure:
    • User are notified of any system down-time.
    • Server performance is monitored daily, and user complaints investigated.
    • Integrations with 3rd party data feeds is maintained. Any failed connections are investigated accordingly.
    • Server capacity remains sufficient for the business needs.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience supporting an ERP System in a 1st line support capacity.
  • Substantial experience in ERP Systems support and Implementation.
  • Proficiency in ERP Software such as Unit4 ERP (Preferred), SAGE or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities
